Jeannie Pond, Licensed Insurance Agent, NPN 8940178, licensed since 2009
I explain eight kinds of coverage: Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and Part D drug plans; health insurance before Medicare; life, final expense and long-term care insurance; and dental, vision and hearing coverage, plus a guide to annuities. Each one comes with the official site where you can check the details. I'm Jeannie Pond, Licensed Insurance Agent, NPN 8940178, and you can look up each of my licenses on the state's own register.
Medicare: Advantage, Supplement and Part D

Before Medicare: health insurance under 65
If you're under 65 and don't have coverage through work: maybe you're leaving a job, retiring early or covering a spouse who isn't on Medicare yet.

Health insurance before Medicare
How Marketplace savings are based on your household income estimate, and when you can sign up to carry you until Medicare starts.

Life insurance
Term or permanent: how long each is designed to last, and what your premium depends on.

Final expense insurance
Final expense (burial) insurance is usually a small whole life policy. How it works, and what Social Security pays at death.

Check it on Medicare.gov and ACL.gov
Weighing an annuity at retirement? Annuities, explained walks through how an annuity works, using Investor.gov and the Florida Department of Financial Services. Annuities are one of the kinds of coverage I sell.
Dental, vision and hearing
Original Medicare doesn't cover most dental care, eye exams for prescription eyeglasses or hearing aids.

Dental, vision and hearing coverage
Two ways to add it: a separate policy, or a Medicare Advantage plan that includes it.

Two things to know before you call
Not every plan in your area
I don't offer every plan available in your area, and the statement next to each button on this site says so. For information on all of your options, contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE.
How agents are paid
Medicare Advantage plans pay the agents and brokers who enroll people. Starting with the 2025 contract year, a federal rule limits plans to the compensation amounts it sets (42 CFR 422.2274). My guide to choosing a Medicare agent lists what to ask any agent, me included.
Not sure which coverage fits you?
